After the Procedure and Recovery:

Surgeon will also prescribe pain killer medicine to help you manage your pain - no need to worry about it. Wound-dressing is not necessary. Particularly the wound must be kept dried, so shower is completely prohibited. It is only allowed patient to just clean his/her body by a damping towel, but keep in mind that wound must be kept dried anyway.
During couple of weeks post-operative, patient should walk by bent forward position. Afterwards patient should start to stretch your back little by little everyday to prevent the stiffness and back-aching.
Please avoid strenuous exercise or heavy lift for at least three weeks. Also patient should try to slowly walk, but not too much walking.
No smoking during first two weeks: Smoking can simply incur a blood clot.
Precaution is advised that no scratch must be made at the incisional wound. If it is truly itchy, moisturiser or vaseline will be allowed to apply. Too fit clothing, such as a pair of tight trousers enough to squeeze the wound must be avoided.
Straight away after surgery, your abdomen will be slightly bloated, a trouble of fitting in your regular clothing may become a pain. To resume the comfort, please put on some lose fitting clothing, either sweatpants or other pants coming with elastic waist band.
